Walker Zimmerman wore this primary gold match worn shirt during a match in the month of September in the 2023 season.

The defender oversaw a revamped backline with his running mate Dave Romney being traded to the New England Revolution prior to the start of the season. His new partner, Jack Maher, emerged as a consistent regular for Gary Smith’s team alongside Walker’s mentorship.

Zimmerman was limited to just 24 appearances in 2023, 22 of which were starts. He added a goal and 2 assists for Nashville and saw a red card for the second straight season.

Despite the occasional absence, Walker was selected to the MLS Best XI for 2023. It marked his fifth selection and he is only the sixth player in league history to be selected for the end of the year award five or more times.

This gold primary shirt was worn at some point in September in a home match at Geodis Park during the 2023 season. It was part of the league’s Kick Childhood Cancer auction in November and features Nashville SC’s unique Kick Childhood Cancer patch that they wore in home matches each year.

The shirt has a few signs of wear including two or three marks and appears to have been washed, albeit not thoroughly as it still carries some smell.
