Shaq Moore was a surprise signing at midseason in 2022 for Nashville SC.

Nashville SC general manager Mike Jacobs said the club’s intent had been to sign Shaq in January after they traded Alistair Johnston to CF Montréal, but it took a bit more time to get the deal across the line. The right back was seeking consistent playtime with a 2022 USMNT World Cup roster spot on the line, and Nashville’s persistence paid off when they were able to lure Moore away from Spain in July 2022.

Moore’s speed, creativity, and defensive ability were a big addition for a Nashville SC side struggling to replace Johnston after his offseason move.

The right back has already tallied 5 assists in just 17 MLS matches across two seasons for the boys in gold, which is no small feat given how stagnant the Nashville offense tends to be outside of Hany Mukhtar’s brilliance.

Shaq Moore wore this navy secondary match worn shirt sometime after his debut with Nashville SC in 2022.

Due to his late arrival, he only played in 11 matches in league play for the club. Nashville tends to wear it’s secondary kits pretty sparingly, so Moore likely only wore navy two or three times in those 11 appearances which helps narrow down when it was worn.

The shirt was washed but has some wear and a stain near the MLS patch on the sleeve. It was signed by Shaq Moore next to the back numbers and acquired via Fanatics.
